Not sure of a title yet)

People who aren't worth much in the mirror
Walk by on crowded streets,
Gazing through empty windows
Making promises they can't keep.

Streetlights blazing down,
Cold and empty hearted,
Barely revealing the
Journeys that won't be started.

And as the sun is setting
We are scared and all alone,
Staring at the night,
Our stars as dull as stone.

With escape out of the question,
Resolve's the only way,
Numb the pain first,
Then survive the day.
