I'm writing a letter.

by Arun Khan   Oct 1, 2008

It's been such a long time I know
I'm sorry I haven't written
time came so fast and I had to go
so many things I wanted to say but didn't
And I could nothing but count your tears
I was so close, I saw you try to kiss my sent
so many times I watched you drown your fears
it broke my heart to witness the way your sweet soul became decadent

So I'm sitting here writing you a letter
I'm sitting here lying, telling myself it'll all be better
and I promise I'm with you twenty four seven
so here it is, my letter sealed with a kiss sent straight from heaven

You've been broken
and you've been torn
so many words needn't be spoken
as I stood by and let you mourn
you've been used and hurt
your trust was abused, as you knelt in the dirt
My hand met yours once or twice
you felt it too, but you kept on playing with damnations dice
our story got so twisted,
your every wound, I was the one who kissed it
Hoping to make it all go away
but knowing no one could save you, not even today

So I'm sitting here writing you a letter
I'm sitting here crying, telling myself it'll all be better
and as you commit the sin of lust, number seven
I'm sending you a letter, sealed with a kiss from heaven

There's No more I can do
even though your calling
But always remember I'm still in with you
even though I watched you falling
and as your shadows surrounded to feed
you just smiled as your soul refused to bleed
and they kept hitting you viciously
as friends slowly disappeared suspiciously
it goes on and on, never to tire
forever burning like witch sentenced to the fire

So I'm sitting here writing you a love letter
I'm siting here dying, telling myself it'll all be better
and I'll be dead tonight by some time around eleven
I'm hoping you'll receive this letter with my kiss before I go to heaven

    - that's the most beautiful thing you've ever written. Those words. I'm stunned by this poem, the message and the lyrics.

    100000/5 :P
    Yours, Teardrop.

Your writing has improved, despite it's sadness.
