Autumn mist

by Joe Eijyuu   Oct 1, 2008

Across the field and over the river
To the hilltop the mist of autumn silently sighs,
Lamentation, exaltation or both, I quietly wonder
An image can be seen opaquely through if one tries,
Most probably it is a reflection of thought of my inner
Because out there stands a wingless angel, so it seems.

To my loved one the face so resembles
Gentleness of her heart I feel in suspended mist,
My longing for her teased by the vaporous touches
Suddenly she beckoningly guided me the densest part,
Wordlessly and calmly she gave me the steamiest kisses
Even now I feel my eyebrows and lips are so sweetly moist.

Nature's mist I adore but not in her eyes
So with my blowing kisses I'll tenderly take care,
Even in the thickest mistiness of fall my spirit guides
Her through to where the autumnal tints in the sun flare,
Her eyes became as round as a full moon as she absorbs
The autumn against a backdrop of my glowing love for her.
