Tripped and Fell in Love.

-Contest poem.
One of my only rhyming poems. :]

Those charming eyes lured me in without hesitation,
I began walking towards you with great determination.
To fall in love and feel the same in return was my goal,
not knowing what would happen falling with heart and soul.

I continued walking along that path that enters love's gate,
when I stumbled across something I learned to never hate.
It was you, standing there in front of my bright blue eyes,
smiling sweetly, you took me by complete surprise.

You captured me, taking my hand to a place unknown.
When it was all over with, we separated, we were alone.
Next to our broken hearts that have yet to mend,
a day will soon come that we will love each other again.
