In Those Final Moments

by thehangman   Oct 3, 2008

In those final moments
What would I feel?
Would I be numb to certain end
And stare death in the eye?
Would I cower in terror
Frozen, barely uttering a cry?

What would I think?
Would I regret all that I have done
And in my final moments, wish I had a voice?
Would I look at my life with satisfaction
Regretting no choice?

Would I even dare to think
In fear that I would find something
That I can never fix?
Some looming regret
Over which, till the end
Would cause me to fret?

Would I even care
What is right and what's wrong?
Would I even care
That this is the end?
In Those Final Moments
