There is a spelling error, it should read "were", not "where". Um as far as a meaning goes, I am at a lost. Your actual intentional meaning is lost within a sea of adolesent connotations that keep on popping up for some reason... I'm not sure why I think it is inappropriate, but it might have to do with words like suck, and pull.... for some reason... and the phrase idle hands. But then again... this poem could be about well, what it says. Something about somebody doing something, and a female then does something that changes his complexion...

It's about attention seeking. Sitting in a cafe or party, not physically moving as such... [ idle and desperate] but doing everything in your power to attract attention because for whatever reason..you need the attention of others to feel good about yourself...
