Parsimonious Love

by Julienne   Oct 3, 2008

I have given
my heart
my soul
lured from it's shell
by your words
your touch
the gentle caress of you

But your guise was thin
and soon discovered
to my pain
my fury
beneath your mere facade
was little compassion
for me
for any other

what did you hope to gain
with my affections
increasingly fragile
you
in your, your frigid mentality
i stand alone
encasing my heart
in a chrysalis of steel
glinting

no longer shall you tarnish my heart
with lies
false affections
without you
no afflictions shall befall me
i care not of you
or of losing you
i care only for myself
and in guarding the most precious
the most secret part of me
that you
in your fallible ways
have left an incision
never to be repeated

your parsimonious love
affects me no longer
me sheild thickens
while you weaken
there will be a day
that you will regret every thing
every morsel of you
each and every inch
will be begging for repentance
for forgiveness
i shall find you alone
and give you nothing
in return for your ever wonderful
parsimonious love
