Lost innocence

by Candie   Jun 7, 2004

Listening to the silence of the night
Under the blankets a girl filled with fright.
Even though warm she still shivers
Remembering the touch that made her body quiver.
How he grabbed her so
He wouldn't let her go.
No where for her to run and hide
He stole her self esteem and pride.
How she hates him
Her heart grown dim.
She doesn't know what to do
Fear that people won't believe what she says is true.
How could her grandfather do this
Stealing her innocence and childhood bliss.
