Dear Father

by I Love Him But Sssh   Oct 3, 2008

I Hate Myself
When I Look In The Mirror
And All I See Is You.
You Didn't Raise Me,
And You Have No Right,
To Be A Part Of Me.

You See Through Me,
Sometimes Its Like
I'm Not Even There.
You Walk Right Past Me,
Still More Than Anything I Want You To Care.

I Keep Thinking To The Future,
Maybe My Wedding Day,
Without You Father Who's Going To Give Me Away?

I Know You Don't Love Me.
I Know You Can't Care.
I've Grown Too Used To The Fact,
Of You Not Being There.
Aren't You Proud Of Who I Am?
The Way That I've Become?
I've Never Given You Reason To Hate Me.
So Why Did You Leave?
I Was A Helpless Child And I Needed You.
Sometimes I Still Think I Do.

I'd Give My Mum The World.
But To You I'd Give Nothing.
Don't Think You Can Come Back
And Let Yourself In.
I've Closed Myself From You,
And Everything You Are.
You Are No Father Of Mine,
I've Inherited Your Cold-Heart.

I'm The Ghost From Your Past
The Mistake You Cannot Erase
You Can Deny My Existence All You Want
I'm Cursed With Wearing Your Face.

I Hope You Feel The Pain
That I Have Suffered All These Years
Walk By With Your Head In Shame
You'll Get All That You Deserve.
I Promise Father, You'll Get All You Deserve.
