Puzzle Pieces of the Sea ((Another Poem for the Stars))

by StandStill   Oct 4, 2008

Unheard little lullabies,
cliche wonderwalls.
Maybe you're my best friend,
save the day and save them all.

No one said what the stars were,
bright points up in the sky.
Kind of sweet of you to save me;
answer my what ifs and whys.

It's never going to be good enough,
can't write enough to say:
Thank you for being you, my dear,
and making the dark sky fade away.

Day one you were an angel,
almost eight months ago, my dear,
seems so long ago,
one day, one month, one year...

Scrambling to stay together,
fall apart so perfectly.
But I promise it'll be ok;
after all, you're you, I'm me.

Welcome to my existance,
you broke the fish bowl, gave me dreams.
Paint the sky a pretty colour..
we'll hang it above the sea.
