Lay upon darkness shrouded,
this glass bottle in my hand,
once more down the bitter sweet taste.
No time as much but wait for me.
True so thought of where I be,
lonely apart from I, more so tonight,
the hopes of soon be filled by new day,
as slowly forget this name.
The name as always, each one will have,
as all will be as what I am,
this name to forget, yet never forgot,
stay this name, never far when sought.
Sweet water once more as I yet return,
so stay the body awaiting myself,
if not by body what still remained,
forgot have I never the name.
Sight less clear as more came down,
thoughts of the name drowned out.
Darkness remains still yet, never a studder,
this night moes on again to another.
