Infinity

by Bare My Paradox   Oct 4, 2008

I saunter here, on a lonely note
And will be here for eternity
The gales may die, and the sky may wither
Though I stand here as infinity

Another timeless sunset, aimlessly it wanes
Floating in an ocean, between neither shore
Slumberless nights wilting against my eyes
Thine eyes shed aghast to the death I adore

Dangling in mid-air, glacial squalls pass me by
Eternity my best friend, hand-in-hand we walk
Eras of time reside in my memory
Though few are worth to talk

I've seen the wise and the fools
The wandering sages, the stubborn kings
I've seen the very first ray of light
All the noblemen who committed 'few' sins

I've heard the desolate mountain echo
And followed its solitary resound,
Flown with the inspired bird
Had conversations with every cloud

And I still seek, what we all seek
The answer that still unknown stays
The mysteries of our universe
And where the fruit of wisdom lays
