Where The Green Grass Grows

by Cindy   Oct 5, 2008

Come carry me away
Where the green grass grows
Distant memories calling
Melting my life's sorrows

Lost in this painful world
Spending my time alone
My soul aching for you
You're all I've ever known

All these years suffering
So many tears I've cried
Ready to leave it all
My eyes see distant skies

Knowing you're waiting
Eases my hearts pain
Held within your arms
Never to part again

Once again... so beautifully written, so much emotion and so much sadness. You have a way with bringing out so much emotion and attractiveness within your poetry, I can't get enough. So to say i'm thirsty for more :]
