Scream

They spread on so thick;
all those lies.
I sit alone in my room,
and the blue glow
of the television washes
over; covers and engulfs me.

They are still lying;
they say things are okay,
but people are still dying
while we eat more than we can chew
and we spit it out.
spit spit spit,
and we cough it up.
cough.

And all the while some of us cry;
some of us bleed in our hearts,
but that too is a lie,
because we do nothing
and it means nothing

    very very very very very very very very very very brilliant poem!!! it sends your point across so clearly, absolutely great stuff! it was so cool at the end with the SCREAM going down, very interesting and great wording all throughtout it, tops stuff!

    i can tell your the type of person who cares about humanity, and who doesn't want the world to amount to anything other than "perfect". And for that you get my respect. Two thumbs up on that one. If you want to read a poem that is quite indecisive, read mine called final destination, or burning sensation.
