Your smile is my nervous break down

by MorbidCupcake   Oct 5, 2008

There's nothing here but fragments of glass that molded window panes
And everything you stood for then has been completely changed
You left so quickly, threw my heart at me and ran away
I'm out of words now, I don't have anything else to say

Your smile is my nervous break down
Your eyes pave the way
Toward nights alone with just my thoughts
Reliving lives on memory lane
Those days meant everything to me
But nothing at all to you
And everytime I see you laugh
I remember when crying was what you were used to

There's nothing left but a locket shaped in love, the one you gave to me
And everything we had felt before is far from the same thing
You backed away, let go of my heart strings and hid away
I'm out of tears now, but with so much left to say

I see you in my dreams at night
Haunting my conscience mind
I feel your arms wrap around me
And I wake without sleep
Because you take over me

Inside the night, you are my fear
You are the reason I am scared
Tears crashing like gun shots in the air
Your existence is everywhere
But you are nowhere
