Shakespeare quotes (as a love letter)

by Alejandro Alfaro   Oct 6, 2008

I do not love thee, I hate thee, thou'st speak of me behind my back like I'm a wretched knave, though you act nice and dost not say it to my face? Are thou scared? Had'st thou found a better love? Dost thou love me? If thou dost love me, show me thy thought. And if indeed so, I shall think thou'rt full of love and honesty. As, I confess, it is my nature's plague to look at thee and oft my jealousy. Thou'st think everything I doth 'tis bad and dost are wrong. Who dotes, yet doubts, suspects, yet strongly loves, think'st thou you'ld make a lie of jealousy? To be once in doubt is once to be resolved, away at once with love or jealousy, 'tis not make me jealous for jealousy is a close delation working from the heart but I hate thee for trying to make me jealous. I speak not yet of complete truth for I still love thee though it is love from one side that hurts, but love from two sides that heals, I speak the truth when I say that love looks not with eyes but with the mind and therefore thou'rt be looking with thy eyes. Hear me when I say that lovers ever run before the clock, but when did the course of true love ever run smooth? You know love is blind, and lovers cannot see, the pretty follies that themselves commit and for that I humbly beseech of your pardon, for too much loving you
