Thoughts About The Past

Whenever I try to hold on to my soul
Whenever I try to put fragments together
And, with all my heart, wish to be whole
I feel like I am falling forever...

I contemplate the lonely sky
While I try not to fall apart
Can my broken soul defy
The darkness that lies beneath my heart?

Whenever I close my eyes
My dreams are haunted by the pain
And I have drowned among the lies
The moment I believed to be insane
