I remeber that horrible day
The day you got the phone call
That your beloved boyfriend had died
YOu called me to cry
I said ill be right there
But I didnt stay on the phone long enough to hear you say
"No Jessica. I can't I can't go on."
When I got to your house
YOu didn't answer the door
I ran inside and found you in a pool of blood
No heartbeat was found.
ANd then I remeber how I found out
The phone call you got was a prank
ANd he was alive and well
He called me to say, "Mattie isn't answerig her phone.
Where is she?"
I told him what had happened
And this is where I messed up
I didn't think about him
I just hung up the phone in tears
ANd that night he killed himself
