I was trying my best to smile
To protect you from my pain
I didn't want you to know
I couldn't take the strain

I pretended that I was happy
When all I wanted was to cry
You didn't have a clue
That I just wanted to die

I cant cover it up anymore
Tears run down my face
I pick up my blade
I have to get out of this place

I'm sorry that I'm so weak
But I don't want to pretend
That everything is normal
And this hurt will end

I'm not worth the tears
