I'm standing in the shadows
so no one can see
I'm hiding in the dark
so you cant tell
the tears are falling from my eyes
the blood is rushing from my veins
i don't want you to know
just what you've done to me
i cant let you see the pain
Ive been fighting
or the torment Ive gone through
all in thanks to you
i want to talk like it never happened
i want to laugh with you again
a want to sit for hours
just me and you in love
you still wont tell me
just what i did wrong
i wish i knew so i could fix us
what we were and could be
everything we had and maybe
one day could have
i know only you and your love
can heal these wounds
and dry these tears

    I love this poem, i feel the emotion and passion gone into it. You wrote it woth heartache and tears rolling down your face. I cann see how you are confused with him leaving you and how you wish it could be the same as before... Keep it up

    Very strong poem, however you might want to make it stronger and go through and do a bit of punctuation etc.
    But, I feel it is very strong with lots of emotion.
    Remeber, you don't have to go it alone.
