I had my last chance, To visit and say goodbye, But I didn't go, Because I didn't think so soon you'd die. I feel alot of guilt, I wasn't there the day you died, And now I'm full of sorrow, All I wanna do is hide. Your body may be dead, But your spirit is still alive, You may not be on earth, But in heaven you still thrive. And when the day comes, When I draw my final breath, My sole glides up to heaven, We will be reunited in death.
