I thought

I thought love was simple
like a walk in the park
but i never imagined how complicated it was

I'm in love with a person
who i hoped was the rite one
but things didn't turn out the way i thought

time help forget things in the past
but some wounds don't heal , they are meant to last

things are confusing rite now between us
not sure if i should stay or try to move on

we do have a past , but u let me down
my mind is filled with so many doubts

i hope in the end i made the rite choice
we get to stay friends and nothing more
