Air escaping this room so tight
how I've entered filled my thoughts,
to where I'd been before I know not
only here where too I know even less.
Must stay calm and think this through
the walls so tight, made from brick,
my screams not able to pierce the armor.
So still I lay the cold coming closer
sleep not what I want yet just a touch of warmth,
breath visible now, my hope at a loss.
eyes falling now feeling the sand,
a dying hour truly at hand;
why I whom have done not wrong,
be concealed and trapt so long.
