Minutes till midnight, both were on the beach.
They walked hand in hand, feet bare, walking along,
on the cold sand.
The moon shined bright, such a lovely sight.
The light shimmered across the sea almost like fairy dust, clear for all to see.
The brisk wind blew her hair slightly; he held her tightly and attempted to explain how much he adores her.
Twinkling stars flawlessly set,
placed just right in the heavens. This is love.
In his arms she feels protected,
there's no place she would rather be.
The sea washes restlessly onto the shore,
giving a calm and tranquil feeling.
Making precious every moment she had with him, holding each other super tight, but you see...
his time was limited, and time passed by.
already he had to say goodbye.
A single tear wet the side of her face,
He had to go, and he couldn't stay.
"Will I ever see him again?" she never felt this way about any other man.
...releasing her from his passionate, warm arms, quietly kissed her lips. Opening up her eyes-
To her surprise, he was gone, without a trace.
She wished the dream could last forever, Forever in his warm embrace.
