Head's up, kind of long, but it is very sweet!!

Pulling me down and laying my head
Close to your heart, both of us contented in your bed.
"Are you hearing anything?" you softly requested
You and your heart were the best things you gifted
Me, as i replied "Yes".

"Listen, you can hear my heart beating for you.
You are the only person that could make it beat slowly and quickly at the same time"

The moon kissed us.
The stars smiled
The world was perfect(but only for a while)

We enjoyed a blissful year together
Loving and always being there for each other.
And a joyous Sunday morning, the birds singing sweetly
We met. both, perpetually happy!

"Baby," you tenderly muttered, tears on your face.
"What?" I cried, as my tears went to waste.
"I've been diagnosed with blood cancer!"

My life became as dark as before
As i watched you deteriorate more and more
No more trysts at night
No more of you holding me tight.

You went back to your true home
And on the day, we made two years,
I stood in black
Eyes blood shot,
But somehow, i didn't cry!

I grieved For months but never once did water flow from my eyes.

And one night i visited a place
A place where eternal souls are at rest
I stood by your side.
And finally, i cried, and cried and cried.

"Listen," I hear a familiar velvet voice utter
"Can you hear?"
"I may not be with you"
"But you are the only person that does this"

And in the still of the night, i found bliss
As i listened to the sounds that i terribly missed!
