Deep in the Night

by Nabila   Oct 9, 2008

It's silent everywhere,
Even the trees only whisper;
As if they are afraid to
Wake people from their slumber.
The moon's up in the sky,
Spreading out its peaceful light,
With those beautiful stars,
So tiny, yet so bright.
The streets are all empty,
As if no soul had been there,
In the air you can feel calmness
That's truly beyond compare.
Now is the time to wake up,
Sit back and think deep;
There's no more distraction,
For the world has gone to sleep.
