True Colors

It's funny how you go through life
trusting certain people,
making sure you stand by their side,
always looking out for them,
and take into genuine account how they feel.
Then you wake up one day
with a cold chill in the air,
and look up and realize the person you once
knew is no longer real
I have only one question for you and that is
why
What could have made you betray me at such
high a cost
Well it doesn't matter anymore
'cuz you've already made your choice
I just hope whatever you gain from this is worth
