Do You Love?

by Wondering Soul   Oct 11, 2008

I never truly knew what love was until I met you,
You showed me what it was to cry,
How easy it is to break someone's heart,
How easy you can push them too far till they can't take it no more,
Till they feel like they have nothing worth living for.

Sometimes when I look back I wish I never knew you,
But you taught me some lessons and made me realise,
That you can't make someone love you the only thing you can do is try.

When I met you I thought I was in love with someone else,
Then one day you asked if I liked you,
I think I was just so surprised I didn't know what to say,
Didn't know from that moment it was about to change my whole life,
But I was too late.

When I asked you again you didn't want to know it was like it was some kind of game,
To this day I will never know if your feelings for me were true,
You've said some things along the way that I've still not answers to,
And even though you say you don't feel the same,
It doesn't stop you leading me on,
Making me fall again, again and again.

Do you love hurting me?
Do you love to know you make me cry?
Do you love how I always fall for your lies?
And how I always come crawling back?
Do you love how I love you in every single way?
Do you love how I love you every second of the day?
How I love your blue eyes,
your smile,
And your ways,
Oh the way you look at me with that look in your eyes when you say...
How you bring up about the past, about me loving you,
do you love the way that everything I write is about you?
Do you love to make me jealous?
And oh how I know you do,
but why?
You must feel something too.

Please if you read my
poems can you rate and comment,
I'll return the favour, thank you.
