Dark Days

Dark days, void of light.
Trying with all your might
to fill those days with hope,
so that you can cope.

Madness is just a step away.
So hard to keep it at bay.
It's nipping at your heels.
You know how it feels.

Every moment, filled with doubt
That's what your life is about.
You have come to dread
the thought, Am I Dead?
