Confusion Of A Broken Heart

by Wolf Haines   Oct 12, 2008

Melting rays upon a soothing sea,
As a star sinks once more.
Gentle whispers of crashing waves,
As the sea caress' the shore.
Harmonious melodies of music sweet,
Heard from playful birds.
Swirling in my mind,
Over and over-
Your words.

Lost echoes of rushing winds,
Continuingly brushing my face.
Precious kisses of memories appear,
And disappear without a trace.
Undesired emptiness rises and consumes,
With emotions painted blue.
Blessed by continual loops of thought
Evading all-
But you.
