You told me you cared,
You told me you’d always be there,
Yet when I needed you the most,
You weren’t there.
You told me you’d be with me forever,
But where are you now?
Off with some other girl.
You told me you’d change,
You told me you’d never do it again,
Yet what did you do?
Did it all over again.
You told me you’d wait for me,
But you went right ahead.
You told me you wouldn’t hurt yourself again,
But now you’re dead.
You told me you’d be there,
But now you aren’t,
All I know is,
