Moonlight Death

by Jessica   Oct 13, 2008

A pretty girl sits all alone
Feet dangiling in the cold water
The moonlight shining on her
A scream achoes around the lake
Footsteps are heard
The noise she always dreaded
She jumped into the water
Knowing she couldnt swim
A knife still lays on the edge of that lake
Glistening when the moonlight shows
Her blood is still on that knife
A puddle on the cold grass
Her screams still haunt that lake
What happened that night will neevr be know
But it started with a pretty girl
And ended with screams
Footsteps in the darkness
Bood in the lake
The girl wanted to turn back
To erase the past
But the truth was
She had made her choice
And it was far to late
