Walking Away

My heart is cursed,
with all this pain.
My sun is now gone,
all it does is rains.

He crosses my mind,
every second of everyday.
I want to be with him so bad,
but there isn't a way.

I'm trying to move on,
to put him in the past.
His love was a love,
I thought would last.

Was I so wrong,
to believe in him?
I'd give anything,
to see him again.

Somehow every guy I see,
brings him to mind.
The ones who always smile,
the ones who are polite and kind.

How do you forget,
all the times you kissed?
How does your heart let go,
when he's the one you miss?

Somehow I'll move on,
try to smile and be brave.
Eventually have the courage,
to simply walk away.
