Pain and Eagles

by InvisiblyHeartless   Oct 13, 2008

Pain sends her soaring
Higher than any eagle
Above the white cotton
Past the reaches of oxygen
Nothing else will get her

Flying at great heights
Seeing everything laid out
Blood drops dry and fall
Tears splatter somewhere
She's safe to cry up here

The greatest treat of all
To see the grace of death
In her reaches, too far
She's protected now
Soaring to her haven
