SOLUTION

I look for answers in every wrong place,
From problems I run and from conflict I hide.
I should've been seeking your mercy and grace,
Instead I found myself tossing you aside

But the things of this world were not enough
I was desperate for the TRUE SOLUTION
I was just wanting to make myself look tough
Instead I was suffocating in my heart's pollution

If I had remembered the most important part
I never would have ended so very far away
From the place I should've been from the start
In my everyday life I'd forgotten to pray

I got so wrapped up in the things of this world
That i allowed my sin to control my whole life
It wasn't long before I found myself being hurled
Down a dark destructive path of troubling strife

Unwilling to see that my ways could only fail
I was sinking deeper and deeper in my pride
Forgetting that in the end only God will prevail
And that all his power and might is on my side

For every problem that is thrown my way
I will turn to God my only proven solution
God is there every minute of every day
Who would want God to have a substitution
