WOW! That had great imagery and a beautiful story to it. The last two stanzas really sent home the point.

I can't believe I'm doing this, saying this out loud.

^ i love that line because it's so true how sometimes we get so desperate, things we thought we'd never say, we finally do.

and of course the last two lines of the whole poem had a great twist to the whole 'wish upon a star' concept.
