Third Time's the Charm

by StandStill   Oct 14, 2008

My eyes feel heavy from the rain,
dew drops falling from my eyes.
I didn't have the nightmares,
but I still woke up wanting to cry.

Promises so sacred,
third times the charm, my dear.
Third lie and third star to the left,
let's fly away from here.

I'm fine is just an understatement,
cute words to fill the void.
Because that will make it better, babe,
hide it, lie, avoid.

Rainbows break upon the storm,
eggshells running with the rain.
It's alright, my darling dear...
fourth time, lie again?
