Pool of sorrow

I am a dream
no soul to hide behind
close your eyes
and its me you'll find
i grasp your darkest fears
and play with them
because i know how much
you try to forget them

Don't fight the tears
fresh wounds pour red
pull the covers tighter
as it soaks the bed
as dawn emerges
upon the sky
the sun kisses your face
still the tears don't dry

Don't want to go to school
feeling such a fool
just want to sink further
into this misery pool
another lesson learned
people you love dont last
try to forget
but you cant change the past

Screaming
no one hears the sound
cant believe your heart
used to be Honor bound
on your own, in this place
at least God can see
the pain on your face

Broken soul
a non existant tomorrow
was it me who just drowned
in the pool of sorrow?
