Ok a question...what made you write this poem?
it's wondefully written...touched my heart...but also made me think that sometimes that's not true...but that is life..and society's view of a man...so it makes sense..
the flow was just amazing.
overall i loved this poem.

I actually really like this poem. It's similiar to a poem that I did, the thoughts and everything are very very very close. How could I not like it?

Ok, there is a flow issue in the second stanza

A man's word is an honor fact
He must keep regardless of the act

You can change it to

A man's word is an honor fact,
must keep regardless of the act

I think it improves the flow a lot. There are a few other places that need to have their flow adjusted.

He must hide heal his wounds and hide his feelings
And always stand up , never kneeling

like that one for example. I feel that it doesn't take away from the poem...it really is a great poem and shows what a 'man' is expected to be by the world around him even though no one will ever say that is what they want him to be.

What is a man supposed to be?
I think the answer will be very different depending on the culture and the age of the one whom is asked this question.
I will give you my opinion of what I think a man should be:
I think a man should be the guardian of his family at all times and devote his life to them and even give his life, if need be. In return he deserves to be respected and loved by them above all else. All other things like working and his relationship with God and his country comes second.
I think a man should be allowed to show his feelings and cry if he wants to, without having fear of being ridiculed. Within a relationship you should be able to be yourself 100% otherwise you will feel like you are left in the dark:)
