Mirror, Mirror

Mirror, Mirror

Darkness's secrets, burning a hole throughout the world.
How do you know what you've been really missing while you're
Hiding in that reverie of pain? A dream turned into a nightmare.
Is that where you really want to stay? Within a glass ball,
Rocking back and forth on the edge of such a steep, deadly cliff.
The sunset's are burning for one more chance.
Take a look and see what beauty that the darkness has stolen away.
Take a quick glance at the world that has been painted black.

What happened to you for you to hurt do badly?
Who broke your heart? Tore apart that part of you that could smile?
The scars that mark your arms, they scream of a pain that,
Cannot be spoken through mere words alone.
Where do you hide your tears so well?
Careful not to break that porcelain mask that you fabricated.
The shards can rip, the shards can cut up your soul.
Broken hearts can only break more once they become hurt again.
Don't worry about the future, don't live in the past

Mirror, mirror on the wall, don't break me apart any more.
I can't stand to stare at you any longer, you make me wanna scream.
How long have I been shouting these words to myself?
That porcelain mask is beginning to fall apart once more.
I can't see that beauty in the world, in the sunset's anymore.
All I can see are the drops of darkness that engulf the entirety.
So don't break me apart; rip open the stitches.
How did I ever think that I was starting to heal when the tears won't stay away?
Mirror, mirror on the wall, please, oh please, don't break me apart anymore.
