Always There's A ...

by Unseen Exposure   Jun 7, 2004

There's a hole inside me,
Waiting to burst,
Dying of starvation,
Quenching of thirst,

There's a tear inside me,
Forever to bleed,
Needing and wanting,
More wanting the need,

There's a fear inside me,
Always to grow,
Hoping to learn,
But never to know,

There's a break inside me,
No chance to mend,
Always and forever,
Until the end,

There's a burden I carry,
Wherever I roam,
Packing up and leaving,
In search of a home,

There's a memory forgotten,
Dug into my soul,
Raping my mind,
Taking over control,

There's a voice in my head,
Telling me to try,
But in the end I fail,
So I curl up and cry,

There's an ache in my heart,
Since that day you parted,
What am I supposed to do?
Now that I'm broken hearted?

There's invasion in my mind,
Of everything we had,
So badly I wish I could change it,
But we can never go back,

So I will always long for your touch,
The embrace of your love,
So I cling to your memory,
And pray to rise above.
