Pieces

She wears her heart on the line
Pretending everything is fine
She once was fit & healthy
But now she is skinny & wasting
Wasting away to skin and bones
No family members notice the signs
Soon she'll be gone in the matter of time
No-one cared to ask questions why?
& now all she can do is cry.
Cry herself to sleep at night
Not wanting to put up with the fight
Coz everyday is a constant battle
A hard battle for survival
Because in her head food is her rival
So she stops eating day by day
Happy with the compliments they would say
Finally it was too much for her body to take
& with every step she started to shake
& as she fell to the floor
This girl knew it was over for sure
As she takes her last breath
She had let anorexia be her death!
