Most things get lost before they are found
But i found something that I've now lost
Something I need but its no longer around
I have to live without it from now on
I held the chance of hope too long
Now it's lost for good, gone forever
To carry on looking I need to be strong
But I don't see the point, it's lost
I'm giving up on it, although I don't want to
But I can't find something that is lost
Especially when that something is you
Something found and lost can never be found again
