Between love and pride

by RoseBlood   Oct 17, 2008

Hands divided
Hearts embraced
Living in a terrible lie
Wishing for a place to hide

Pride won't let you admit
The love that's in between
If we were one minute alone
All your pride would be gone

As each other day passes by
I am loosing the last of hope
You're going more away
Even tough you're still in my heart

Afraid of the love I can give
Afraid to be lost in that love
Cos you're just a boy
You will never be able to give
Half of what I'd give to you
Of The love that you're feelin' too

And I still believe in you
And I still have hope
And I still love you
Deep from the heart

When love would be gone
I'll feel like dying
But as long as I know
That our love lives
I will never give up, no
Never give up on us

Hands still divided
Hearts even more embraced
If only you were braver
You'd have been my lover
