This is the first time that I see
The way you act around me

I never knew you felt that way
Even though we meet every day

How could I not notice your face
And I'm the first you see in that place

Tell me how you initiated a start
To carry me around in your heart

Did I say something that made you feel
That someday we will have something real

I am sorry but I have to set things straight
I want you to stop thinking that I am your fate

I don't deserve someone as good as you
You have always been there and I never knew

I will go away so please try to understand
I'm not the girl whose meant to hold your hand

    Wow one sided love ... and you handled it such amaizigly , blaming your self for not being enough or deserve that love ... is like just i dont think that is right in a way ,... in my opignion we are all worth it ,. it is jsut we want it to work for it or not ...

    What a lovely poem although the person who this was meant for would not have been happy to read this, the poem was well written with a good meter and rhyme.
    Your subject matter seems it came from the heart rather than just something made up, though i could be wrong.
    All in all a poem worth the reading, well done and thanks for sharing
