So Sad

It's so sad what the world's come to
Kids fear there parents
They slip through the cracks
And are slowly forgotten
No one cares about a young 2 year old boy
Who is abused and alone
His mother tried hard to protect him
From the man he called father
But she was only a girl
Who could barley take care of herself
So many kids are slipping through the cracks
And are becoming slowly forgotten
Does anyone even care?
Will anyone ever know?
I wish I could help them
But the thing is
I'm slowly slipping through the cracks too
Alone and Forgoten
Just a young girl
With no one to turn to
