Powerless Victims

by Baby Rainbow   Oct 18, 2008

Powerless victims
living in silence,
home alone,
suffering violence.

Disturbing dreams
keeping you awake,
silent screams
seeking comfort.

"I just fell" lies
covering bruises.

Hiding black eyes,
returning home to abuse,
but what else can you do?

A powerless victim
living in silence
and no one has a clue

i like this stanza, it is written like an hieroglyphics form that needs scholar or an interpreter, but in this case, i felt that the only person who can interpret is the person being encapsulates of the story.
