Eggheads Sharing Eggnog

by RainbowSlider   Oct 19, 2008

The Gods must be crazy.
Their are at it, again.
He stops to pick a daisy
For his new best friend.

She has her way to go.
He is just following her.
A bat out of hell, though.
She takes off like a blur.

Pulled off and see eggnog.
Just an item on the shelf.
They're just Gog and Magog.
He mumbles only to himself.

She goes leaving only dust.
He takes a drink and leaves.
She stops and waits; Its trust.
Relaxes as he calmly breathes.

She said she liked eggnog, too.
It stays indented on his mind.
The chase begins out of the blue.
He values how she is so kind.
