Desired

by TheRevelation   Oct 19, 2008

Temporary kisses slip down my neck,
Euphoric thoughts glitter through my mind,
Menial am I, order and I shall obey,
Permission, I care not, I have no side,
Temporary chasing is allowed as I run,
Apprehension is overseen until I am done,
Temporary insanity takes over your body,
Ignitable as gasoline, I flicker and spark,
Overdose on me, I do not complain,
Nonexistant time, I happen in the light and dark.

Take each letter from the beginning, [Capitals] and you have found what I am. Desired....

What a fantastic write. Great poetic devices used in this poem, the acrostic form was amazingly used to suit the poems topic. The rhyming was also a plus and the flow was great.
Temptation... you described it perfectly i believe.
    great work.

Acroustic..that is what this form is, well, I thnik so anyway?

Tempatation, this can be a very powerful emotion, especially when it envolves sexual pleasure. Just the thought of a yearned desire is tempting enough to drive a mind and body wild, often the tease, the thought of the act is greater than the actual reality, but combined, well, now that is pure temptation!!

Well done on this form, a great piece from you.

    Take care

Very well done..an acronym I believe of Tempatation.

I find this form very enjoyable and I can see you have enjoyed it too. The way you describe this emotion as almost electricity, powerful and difficult to tame.
