Looking up...

by CanUKissAwayMyPain   Oct 19, 2008

Trees dancing...
Wind as their partner..
Birds singing a beautiful melody.
The lake reflecting the sky.
The sun shining so bright up their.
Laying here on the grass.
Staring at the sky.
Not thinking what time it is.
Soon the sun goes and the moon flows behind.
Starz twinkle all together.
A smile crosses my face.
Cause that star right there.
The one brightest of them all.
Reminds me of you.
Wishing that you where here with me.
To share this sight together.
A tear falls down my eye.
Knowing we are so faraway from each other.
It's not gotta happen anytime soon.
No matter how much I wish for it!
No matter how much I want it..

A very nice poem. Me being a Pegan, i enjoyed the nature and the peace of mind that you brought. It spoke to my spirit has a pegan poem, this might be, or it might not, but i loved it the same. The way the lake reflected the sky, I could see the clouds in the water in my mind, i could hear the birds singing, i could feel the cool grass on my back and the summer breaze rising from the shore of the lake to the infinite wonders of real and fictional lands far away in a peacful time. The desire to share with someone was more then apparent, tho breifly voiced, but I could feel the longing to have my wife beside me at the very moment that i read that line about wanting someone specific with you, and then the feelings turned toward my great grand mother has i read on that this desire could never be fullfilled, for my great grandmother has past on. I loved this poem, its beautiful in every sence of the word. By the way, thank you very much for your comments on Sonnet of A Fallen Angel and Raven of My Soul,
